The vertical mile

Congratulations to Heidi Marsh and Brian Solomon for climbing a vertical mile on Sept. 30. Starting at the riverside near the Aquarium, they hiked up Cherokee Orchard road and then climbed the Rainbow Falls Trail. That's a gain of 5,312 feet to High Top.


The round-trip hike was 20.7 miles with a time of 8 hours and 15 minutes.
