Tour Dewey

The intrepid Dewey Slusher has climbed Le Conte 440 times, but he had never attempted all the trails in a single day until June 14.

Dewey started on Rainbow at 6:22 a..m., descended the Boulevard, biked down from Newfound Gap, climbed Alum, descended Bullhead, climbed Trillium, and finished on Brushy Mountain. He took a hard tumble in the dark on Trillium but was able to finish at down, with a time of 23:50.

Dewey reported challenging conditions on Bullhead, because of blown-down trees and washouts.
